Pulling together a collaborative team of creatives (Kelly and Matt), we reimagined how Portland’s airport (America’s best seven years running) can create confidence, comfort, and fun for 10 million travelers and 10,000 employees as they experience MASSIVE construction at the airport.

Our Strategy

Use construction as an opportunity to create even more good will for PDX. Communication that is reliable, welcoming, and irreverent. Just like Portland.

The team used digital (social media and web) to drive awareness and splashed large, vibrant text throughout the airport to help folks get ready and have a little more fun.

The Impact

We created the core approach (talk about the benefit to people, not the intricacies of construction!), messaging, audience tactics, examples to illustrate, and timelines to make it happen. And now we’re in there with them, helping continue bringing it to life.
