His job?

Tackling the social and economic issues that define the places and people we want to be.

In past lives, Tripp led external affairs for Portland’s United Way, and launched the Oregon office of a national strategic communications firm. He also ran policy and programs for a K-12 advocacy group, designed focus groups and surveys with the Northwest’s leading opinion research firm, and led multi-million dollar public policy programs for a private foundation.

He’s a fellow of the German Marshall Fund, an international democratic think tank. Plus, he has a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Minnesota.
